Spreading a bit of sunshine
Chrissie Jackson is a very familiar face in Newquay. As the co-founder of the Newquay Voice, photographer and sailor.
Earlier this year, Chrissie was given the devastating news that she has stage 4 cancer. There is no cure, purely prolonging her life for as long as they can. But this doesn’t mean that she’s just sitting back and giving up. Quite the opposite.
There’s lots that Chrissie would like to achieve, and you can read all about them and how to get involved on this website. Plus, she wants to help raise as much money as she can for a number of local charities close to her heart.
“Hold your face to the sun and let the shadows fall behind you”
Chrissie has officially received £900 from the fantastic Sunset Calendars that were put together by Jon Goodman and his Mom Photos Thanks also to Jamie at PJ Print and Signs, Rachel at FreshPoint - Open To Everyone and the lovely staff at Visit Newquay for helping...
"Keep the hope" Chrissie undergoes her next immunotherapy trial. Whilst it's not appropriate to carry out a 'usual' Trial in Style, Chrissie is determined to keep the sun shining with her choice of outfit.
